The Progress Group on Nonmarine-Marine Correlation was established on May 1st, 2013 and is chaired by Joerg W. Schneider, the vice chairman of the Subcommission on Permian Stratigraphy. In the following years, establishing a precise correlation between the nonmarine and marine late Paleozoic successions will be an important task for the SCCS and SPS. The recent activities and plans of the project group are summarized in the following progress reports.
